New York, NY, July 11, 2006 – MTV is heading back to Orange County, California for the new season of the popular reality drama “Laguna Beach” premiering August 16 at 10:00 PM ET/PT. It’s season three of “Laguna Beach” and although the players are new, the game is the same – scheming high school politics of hookups, breakups, love triangles and popular cliques of seasons past.
“The second season of ‘Laguna Beach’ was really a sequel to the first season, it completed the story, while this season we start from scratch with all new kids, all new drama and all new stories, which is very exciting,” said Tony DiSanto, Executive Producer on ‘Laguna Beach.’ “Of course there will be some familiar faces and places, but this season is a whole new chapter in the Laguna saga.”
This year, a variety of coming of age stories that surround high school life will be revealed. A girl will find love for the first time, but will she hold onto it? Will a lifelong friendship turn into something more? Does a high school rock band have a chance at making it big? And will a girl ousted from the popular clique find her way back in?
Welcome back to Laguna Beach, CA -- where the drama continues, teen angst rules and new faces are introduced:
Tessa –While she and Chase have dated in the past, their relationship is something between friendship and maybe a little something more.
Chase – This hot lead singer of his very own rock band, “Open Air Stereo,” is popular with guys and girls. He’s also a best friend and shoulder to cry on for Tessa.
Kyndra – The reigning queen bee of LB, Kyndra has it all – the right clothes, money to spend and the best party house. She rules the alpha-clique with best friend Cami, and Lexie.
Cami – Always ready with a biting one-liner, Cami has style, confidence and attitude, and is not afraid to say what’s on her mind. As Kyndra’s best friend, they’re all about the parties, fashion and keeping the hot guys in their court.
Raquel (aka “Rocky”) – Along with her best friend Tessa, Rocky is in a clash with the popular girls in school.
Cameron – He’s a player both on and off the field. All the girls in Laguna Beach have a crush on Cameron, but will this All-American jock get in trouble with too many loves?
Kelan – He’s lead guitarist in the band with good friend Chase, but Kelan is way more serious about making it work from a business perspective.
Lexie –Training to be a professional dancer leaves her little time for all the boys who fall at her feet.
Breanna – She’s Lauren’s (LC) little sister and those are big shoes to fill.

Wow! at first i didnt wanna watch season 3 cause all my favs were gone but after seeing that trailer i think im gonna get hooked all over again lol ..so much drama, you just cant help but watch it.
I wish kristin would be on an episode! At least some of the old cast will make it interesting!
I know that this is off topic but there are no kristin updates. anyway, her ex brody and stephen's girl hayden are both judges in the miss teen usa pageant. there were a lot of other washed up celebs there as well.

talk about unattractive. brenna looks kinda manly. she even cried in the previews. shes lame they should get her off the show.
This season is probably super-fake. They're trying so hard to imitate the first cast but they'll never be able to fill the HUGE shoes of Kristin, LC or Stephen. This year the boys are ugly, the girls are slutty and the plot is scripted. I'll never watch it.
ps. You could kind of say that LC is the lucky one when it comes to looks in the family...

Brenna has a nice body but, a manly face. She can't help it but, I don't think she or anyone else on the cast can compare to LC or Kristin. They were the definit hotties of Laguna.
I miss them on the show. Too bad it wasn't still running with the second seasons cast.

Cameron is not ugly, she has an ugly personality. Kyndra is not ugly, I don't know where people get off calling her ugly. I doubt that whoever is saying that can even compare to her. Breanna is lame, she is a friend needy girl. However her sister LC did have friends so don't compare her to her sister. The only REALLY pathetic person on the show is Jessica. I'm sure she'll get played by this guy too... I think stuff like this is always going to happen to Jess until she stops being soooo annoying...

Yea i'm wondering that too, is tessa sick or somethin. i luv Laguna Beach and watched it religiously since season 1. Even though i was a bit sketchy about Season 3 after seeing the complete trailer it doesnt look that bad.
i love all the music played on the show and theres one in particular i cant figure out who sings if you fellow Laguna Beach lovers can help it would be greatly appreciated...

WoW... the nerves! Jessica here from Laguna Beach Season 2 and 3. Here i am checking out fan sites and come across this one which i think is pretty cool until reading among the comments involving me! So here is some CLARITY First off I skipped a Grade in Jr. High and Cameron was retained. My relationship with Cameron is None of anyones buisness to judge. i ve grown so much from jason and learned you guys think what you want but cameras show what they want not all footage is shown the edit it in a way to look like people hook-up. so believe what you want but i know im the one being filmed. And as for me and Cameron we are still close buds so im sorry if you are Buthurt!!If you truly love Laguna dont talk about the Cast!
