Laguna Beach stars Lauren "L.C." Conrad and Jason Wahler have split up, PEOPLE has confirmed.
"Its true. Lauren broke up with him last week," Conrad's rep, Nicole Perez, tells PEOPLE.
Being single isn't slowing Conrad down a bit: The 20-year-old, who now appears on The Hills, took a trip to Las Vegas last weekend with her girlfriends, including Hills pal Heidi Montag.
Meanwhile, Wahler, 19, partied in Los Angeles over the weekend at Les Deux with Laguna pal Stephen Colletti. Wahler, wearing Adidas track pants and a t-shirt, got wild on the dance floor, according to a source.
"He was all over the place," says an onlooker, "Every time I saw him, he was talking to a different girl."
Wahler's partying ways contributed to the couple's breakup, a source tells PEOPLE.
This is not the first time they've split. The pair broke up last August, then reunited. "We're pretty serious now," Conrad told PEOPLE in May.
As for the future, Conrad plans to return to L.A.'s Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in the fall, and will film a second season of The Hills.

it's about time!
I'm glad she broke up with him. I am sure he was good to her most of the time but we don't know the whole story. Breakups can be tough. Hopefully she will find a guy that treats her right ALL of the time!

New York Post reported that they had a "violent breakup". One of their sources said Jason "went psycho" and that Lauren was forced to change the locks on her apartment doors.

...and when will you idiots learn. The offer to work in Paris thing was completely staged and scripted. It is completely obvious that Whitney was a more suitable intern the entire season since she was actually REALLY interviewed and hired for that internship instead of making a deal with MTV Productions like Lauren did. It was scripted that Lauren was not supposed to take the internship ON PURPOSE because it was never seriously offered to her. It was for Whitney the whole time. God. I believe the violence in Jason. He apparently got physical with Alex M. on LB season 2 and that was one of the many reasons she stopped seeing him, but of course, they're not going to show that.

7:18 PM....I did see LB 2, I saw all of the episodes and of course they're not going to show Jason (or anyone else for that matter), getting violent with Alex M. on the show. I know on the show he basically dumps her, not the other way around, but there were rumors after the show ended that not only was he in rehab before, but he got really mad @ Alex M. one time (didn't say why) and banged her head against the wall.

Jason didnt abuse lauren or hurt her he just went a little out of control becuase she broke up with him but he didnt hurt her and they will prolly get back together after they work all of this out

It was a rumor about Jason and Alex that I read on some website and a D.J. here in L.A. was talking about it on some radio station. This was all right after Season 2 ended...so it was awhile ago. Whether it's true or not, I don't know...that's just what I heard. Also, they won't let Jason on the Hills because uh, hello...they broke up. Filming hasn't started yet, so if they're not dating, why would they have him on the show??? Same way Jordan won't be on the show if he's not dating Heidi. It's not the Jason and Jordan show; it's about Lauren.

ok lauren and jason were so cute together (kristin and steven were better tho) and i rly dont think jason woulda abused her bc on the final episode on the hills he wanted to get a house with her and he wanted to marry her...he was in love with lauren and i rly disagree with the abuse thing...lauren knows whats right for her life and if she wants jason out of it then so be it...but they were rly cute together...so was heidi and jordan.
