A source close to Lauren e-mailed me the following this morning:
8/8/2006 5:49:25 A.M. W. Europe Standard Time Hot scoop. Lauren and Jason have broken up. Us weekly will break it this week. Lauren finally gave him the boot. Jason is begging for her to take him back but Lauren is finally done with him. Lauren was in Vegas at the Palms with Heidi and jason is hitting the clubs hard now that he doesn't have to sneak around hooking up.
OH MY GOD i cant believe she broke up with him i thought she was so in love with him, i think she will get back together with him she loves him and he loves her
good for her, hopefully she has realized it's impossible to change a guy...you have to take it like it is or leave it. she deserves so much better than him anyway.
im an lc fan and a jason fan and yeah at some times he is out of control but it seems like he really loves her and it seemd like she really loved him so hopefully they work things out and can be a couple again

Oh my God, thank God she got rid of him!!! She deserves SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better. I can only assume that all the LC fans will agree.
