Thursday, August 03, 2006 || Second season of The Hills will "start shooting right away"
Production on the second season of The Hills will begin almost immediately, according to the show’s executive producer. Tony DiSanto tells the New York Post, “We’ll start shooting right away because you don’t want to potentially miss cool stuff that’s happening in these people’s lives.”
The finale, which aired last night, only “wrapped about three weeks ago,” according to the paper, so the aftermath of Lauren’s decision to follow her man instead of her career.
Thus, producers don’t want to miss anything. “We’re going to dive right in ASAP. We’re going to get the troops back together and jump in,” DiSanto said.
Season two is expected to air sometime next year.

I can't believe Lauren picked Jason over Paris. Romantic, maybe .. but what a poor career move. She is going to definatly regret that later.
i thought lc said she was done with reality tv. anywho, yeah, that was a poor move on her part to pick jason over paris. tsk tsk. can't wait for the next season of the hills.
LC has already had 2 GREAT internships that any fashion student would kill to have! She is rich, beautiful and everyone knows who she is, I hardly doubt this is going to hurt her career what so ever. There will be a HUGE wave of opportunities for her. I would be willing to bet money that a LOT of companies have asked her to intern with them.
So she picked her boyfriend over her work, big deal. I'd have done the same thing. When you're 20 work isnt supposed to come first, you have your WHOLE life to put work first.

LC is an IDIOT for not choosing Paris. She will regret this later in life for sure! I think Whitney is a smart girl who knows that the Fashion World is constantly changing and is mature enough to handle it. Why couldn't Jason just go to Paris with LC? It's not like he has a JOb or anything to report to the next day. Besides he rich, I am sure that he could afford a nice Parisian Villa so that LC could gain some real exprience in the Fashion headquarters of the world. Kristin had it right...what a dumbass!

I think this would be a hard choice for anyone that young and in love. 8:58 had a very good point. I am 20, and I have been with my boyfriend for 3 years, I would totally pick him over anything. She will get more chances, and if not oh well she will have a man. I think she did what was best for her. I am glad Whitney got the chance though. And I hope she does great in life, I really like her. Whitney didn't have a bf to stay home to, so her choice probably was no where near as hard to make.
I Loved that part where lisa love was waiting at the airport, and I assumed for lauren, then whitney showed up. pretty good ending! Can't wait for next season

1:04 I can state my opinion and just because I am an independant woman who does not need a man to validate her doesn't not signify you calling me trailor trash...Screw U!!!! As a modern woman who claims she wants to be a role model for young girls, I think sending the message that choosing a man (Jason at that) over an opportunity to further your career is not a positive one. Do U think Stella McCartney or Vera Wang would make such a decision because if they did we wouldn't know who they were right now. LC has her entire life to be in love and/or be with Jason. I like lauren, and I still think her decision was stupid.... of course, that's partly because jason's a worthless bum. I mean, it's not like she chose a nice, successful, intelligent guy over her career. she chose jason.

jason and LC got alot of money from autograph signing and club apperances. you have no idea how much money they make for a couple of hours.
