On Laguna
Stephen told TEEN PEOPLE that he’s pleased with the way he was portrayed on Laguna Beach, although there were still some things that were, “exaggerated.” Do tell! “Well, like that I’m a player.” Wait a second! He’s not? “I don’t think I am,” he says. “I mean, in high school you’re young and you can’t help that you’re mind is wandering and wants to exercise itself.” Uh-huh.
On being a VJ
The surfing cutie says he’s excited about his new gig as an MTV VJ, but still has nerves about one thing: reading off the cue cards. “I just want to go off on my own stuff, but you have to stick to what they have [on the cards]. Plus, you’re shooting a live show, so you’ve got to nail it the first time.”
On girls
“I started getting a lot of attention from girls after [Laguna], but it’s a turn off for me,” the 20-year-old says. “They only want to hang out with me because they’ve seen me on TV.” So how can you win over his heart? “I was really hoping to meet a girl who had never seen the show.” Good luck with that one, Stephen!
On Kristin Cavallari
So what does Kristin Cavallari’s ex think when he sees her name all over the celebrity gossip magazines (ahem: Nick Lachey)? “It’s funny to me,” he says with a hint of sarcasm. “I don’t really think about it. I’ll get a laugh out of it and it’s weird, but she’s getting what she wants and what she’s wished for.”
On Laguna Season 3
As a successful reality TV alum, the California boy has a few pieces of advice to offer future casts of Laguna: “Try to be yourself and not something you aren’t,” Stephen says, adding, “People come into [the show] with the wrong dream of fame and think that they can start [a show business career] and then go on to do something else. It has to be something that they really have a dream for.” And he should know! He just wrapped his first movie, Normal Adolescent Behavior, due out next year!

i dont think stephen is cute at all. he is very shady. he played both girls and we need to stop hating on lauren and kristen. when clearly he is the first one we blame. c'mon girl power!! anyone with me??

Stephen and Kristin's relationship was all messed up but I like them both. Stephen is definitely hot!

I think Stephan is hot too. And I also think that neither of the three are to blame. Like he said they were in high school and was young, people do dumb things then. Girls are gonna hate each other over guys no matter what.

For some reason, I think stephen was way hotter on LB! I Luv Kristin, but yeah they are both to blame for cheating.
