This was a great episode. I am not sure where to start... Parents are wise! I like the fact that the father pointed out that Heidi has placed all her eggs into one basket.

It cool to see that LC misses her friend. If you have been best friend with someone for more than 2 years... you have to be a cold bitch to not miss them at all.
That was a great episode. You could tell Heidi's parents didn't like Spencer and wanted Heidi to be friends with Lauren again. Smart parents! I'm sure they weren't too happy about the fake boobs and nose.
It was really sweet to see Lauren cry over Heidi. Heidi has to be a cold-hearted b*tch to not reach out and try to apologize after that.

The previews for next week look good. Spencer looks like a douche with facial hair and I don't believe Brody was behind the rumors. I'm sure Spencer just brainwashed Heidi into believing that. Jenn needs to quit hanging out with Heidi.
It was so sad that Lauren was crying about how she misses Heidi. I really feel bad for her because I know I would miss my best friend too if that happened to me.
I thought it was a crappy episode. Where was Lauren? Where was Whitney? The Hills has become the "couples show"! I'm not a heidi fan but I would have been OK with the family part of the episode had they cut out all the scenes before it - why do we need to see every little Heidi /Spencer scene - normally I fast forward them but they were in too much of this episode to even attempt that. Ridiculous...
And how are we to believe Heidi and Spencer are in a real relationship when he's not even aware that she speaks to her Mom everyday? And how is it that in the year they've been dating he's never once met her parents or even talked to them on the phone? Once again, ridiculous...
The only scene worth watching for is the end scene w/ lauren and audrina when lauren breaks down and also when lauren says that "he can't be your guy - he wears combat boots at the beach" hysterical!! Also the scene with lo, lauren and audrina where audrina actually called Justin justinbobby was laugh out loud funny!
But, back to the rest of the show, I am seriously ticked about all the speiidi, spody coverage - it's boring and unnecessary. ....this is not the Hills I fell in love with : (
just think if heidi and spencer wouldnt of gone to heidis parents .. heidi and spencer wouldve been in MALIBU too.. ahh. that would be good thought. lol

I have to sit here and agree wholeheartedly with Heidi's parents. I'm feel so embarrassed for Spencer whenever he talks to her parents, especially at the restaurant where he told her parents that Lauren wanted Heidi all to herself. He acted so immature.

I have never really been a big fan of Laurens, she always got on my nerves. However, last nights episode did a really good job of changing my view on her. Seeing her sitting on the beach with Audrina crying over losing Heidi as a best friend really made me gain a lot of respect for her. This is the type of scenes that MTV needs to show more of. She was going through something that so many of us can relate to and when they show something like that you connect with that person so much more. She obviously still cares for Heidi regardless of everything that happened between the two of them.
I have to disagree with Lauren and Brody being a good couple. Even though Brody comes out looking like a better person then Spencer, I think he still has a lot of Spencer-like qualities....they are just hidden underneath. I think it would be best for her to keep him solely as a friend.
I was feeling really bad for Audrina while I was watching Justin ignore her and flirt with other girls. Then, when Lauren found her helmet inside the house, I felt even worse for her. Lauren was a good friend in the way she tried to cheer her up. But, I stopped feeling bad for her when I saw the previews for next week when she told Lauren she was meeting up with Justin again. She is bringing this on herself.

not only is there too much speidi, but it is so annoying how they kept going back and forth from the bbq scenes to heidi's parents house every couple of minutes. so far i'm thinking season 2 was way better than season 3. i don't think heidi and spencer even need to be on the show anymore, after all it is lauren's show and they aren't even friends anymore. most people don't even like them so they should just concentrate on lauren, whitney and audrina (at least until there is actual drama to show between heidi and spencer or another confrontation and/or reconciliation between heidi and lauren). btw...did u guys see the pics of lauren and jenn eating lunch together the other day? it was being filmed by mtv so i'm sure it will make for an interesting episode! overall, i wasn't much of a fan of episode 3.. but i still have high hopes for the rest of the season
I forgot about Spencer talking to Heidi’s parents about Lauren! He looked crazy and her parents seemed to be taken aback. I don’t think they like him very much, if at all.
I also liked the scenes with Lauren and Audrina - it was obvious they were pretty drunk and hence more emotional, but nevertheless it was really sweet.
Brody is really getting on my nerves. He was such a little girl about Spencer not coming to his BBQ, and then with Lauren and breaking his finger/cast. Even though he was joking around, he partially seemed serious about the whole thing. Regardless, it’s just kind of annoying to keep hammering it in as the joke was getting old.
I also do believe that he had something to do with the sex tape rumor. Of course, so did Spencer and Heidi, but there were multiple sources so I definitely wouldn’t be surprised. I’ve also always thought that he told Spencer about the beef curtain thing - not that I believe or even care if it’s true, but it does make sense since he has possibly hooked up with Lauren and he is Spencer’s friend. He may come off looking like a good guy a lot, but I totally think he’s Spencer on the inside. I personally think Lauren needs to be a lot more cautious with him, even as a friend.
Also, I cringed when Lauren called him her ex - would you call a guy you dated a few times an ex? I know I wouldn’t.
LC shows that she is at least human when she cried over her lost friendship. Heidi on the other hand showed how she never really cared for LC as a friend.
