I don't think Katja is that cute at all. I agree with Lauren, dating someone for only 6 months and getting engaged is stupid. But, that's just my opinion.
Newsflash to Heidi, when your "fiance" doesn't tell his parents he's getting married something is wrong there. He didn't seem to thrilled about it. Maybe because it's all FAKE.

wow, jason's fiance, was mean. you can totally tell she was jealous of lauren. i feel bad for lauren, because jason kept it from her. he should of let her know from the beginning. it's sad that they still have feelings for each other. but next week sure looks good ! brody and lauren are cute, i like frankie, but brody kind of seems to have a player personality. i don't really get audrina, i like her, but i don't think lauren and lo do things on purpose to justin bobby, he just seems moody with a sour personality. i don't think they mind her dating him, but after a while he should learn to be nice. i don't think they've ever tried to be offensive towards him. god, i sure hope justin bobby won't turn into spencer number two.
5:11, next week is brodys birthday and they all go to vegas. While there Brody and Lauren flirt and Brody asks Lauren where his birthday kiss is. Then it shows them kissing later.
Audrina gets mad when Lo says that she doesn't think JB likes them. She said, "maybe I'll break up with him to make you guys happy." Then goes off crying.

anyone else notice how Heidi and Spencer keep saying how close they are with each other's families, but I get the feeling the truth is they really don't know each other well at all. How else would they not know about their being engaged? WTF??? Spencer and Heidi are the biggest douches and are getting what they deserve!

Tonite episode was good, I like that it had very little heidi and spencer.
Lauren: I really feel sorry for her. I am not sure if she wanted to give jason another chance but it seemed that she was blind sighted by the news that jason was moving in with his gf. I really think Jason cannot be a part of her life. He just makes her miserable. She has to realize that for herself. I thought she handled herself really classy with the whole engagement debacle. I would have seriously went to my car and left. She did not seemed jaleous to me... it seems that she was concerned because he is not supposed to even be dating anyone based on his program's rules.
Jason: Always knew he was an asshole and tonite was no different. He never appreciate LC when she was his gf and now his friend. He could have warned her about the engagement and set up another time for them to meet. Heck, he could have told her sooner that he had a serious gf. The engagement seemed funny with the beer that was flowing and jason seemed to be drinking again.
Katja: Fugly and Bitchy. She does look like a man and quite insecure. I would give her some credit since LC is gorgeous but she could have been nicer.
Whitney: I just love her. Her and Lauren have a great friendship and she gives LC some good advice. Lauren should not talk to Jason for a while and move on with her life. She handled the shoot well... too bad Lisa Love chewed her out.
Jenn: She looks good and seemed to give Heidi some decent advice.
Speidi: Losers. They are total fakers and cannot keep their story straight. If his grandmother is calling him and telling him to buy us weekly surely they know that he is engaged. I really could not care for them either way.
Next Week: hehehehe LC and Brody!!! A couple worth watching.
Here are my scattered random thoughts I will always hope Jason gets his shit together but I HATE the way he continually sets Lauren up. He had every opportunity to tell her he was in a serious committed relationship yet he mentioned nothing when she visited him in rehab, when they had dinner at Ketchup and a subsequent lunch. I'm sorry but, wtf? If you really care about Lauren why not be 100% honest and upfront with her? Unless you want her to think you're still available? Games, games games... And then there was the other set-up at the "housewarming" party. I'm guessing they were already engaged when Jason finally got around to telling Lauren he had a gf! More "manufactured" drama for optimum Jason MTV time? And of course all of this "drama" sets the stage for Katja and Lauren to not get along which in turn kills the chance of them ever becoming friends and comparing notes. Hmmm, Jason hasn't changed much... and was it just me or did it seem like he'd been drinking when he was talking to Lauren outside of the party?
LOVED seeing more Whitney but I do think she dropped the ball in going out. She put herself in the role of a "buddy". of course he wasn't going to put on those jeans. A "buddy" would understand he liked his own pair of jeans better. I think Whitney felt betrayed but she kind of set herself up. Very reminiscent of the 1st season when heidi crashed that party.
Heidi & Spencer bleh...I don't believe anything about this relationship, there's too many contradictory stories. Heidi acts like she doesn't talk to his parents and yet supposedly they spend all their time there? Ridiculous.. I've taken to staring at Spencer's teeth when they're talking, They are blindingly white and look ridiculously like chicklets. As long as I look at the teeth and zone out - I'm good! ;) lol
LOVED the conversation at the end with Whitney and Lauren. It was great seeing Lauren put things in perspective and seeing the light so to speak in terms of Jason.

The Justin/Lauren/Audrina/Lo blowout - I think thats been coming for a long time. Lo continually calls him JustinBobby in front of Audrina and I'm guessing in front of Justin as well. Who wants to be made fun of to their face? I think Audrina needed to address this a long time ago and things have escalated to a boiling point...
Ok, the housewarming party happened last month, remember the interview Jason did with this guy where Perez Hilton chimmed (sp) in about the sex tape rumor, Jason clearly stated he was in a committed relationship. This interview happened way before the housewarming party. Lauren knew he was in a relationship. This is all staged drama which was not necessary, because it was so lame.
Why did Jason tell Us Magazine such a blatant lie. "Lauren showed up at the housewarming party uninvited." Um Hello, that was not what I saw in today's episode.
I thought this was going to be another episode where poor, pathetic Lauren is still hung up on Jason... WRONG. She looked around the room, took note of the fact that it could have been her in Katja's shoes and woke up-FAST. That's my girl. Better late than never. I have mixed feelings on Jason. He seemed genuinely concerned about Lauren's feelings and repeatedly asked her if she was okay. I also like how Lauren is straight with Jason. I think in reality she knew he had a gf. They seem too close for him to have kept it a secret. Speidi is as everyone has said: fake. They fake fight to get more air time. Of course Spencer's parents knew about the engagement. It's all just lies to keep their fugs on camera. And Heidi's friendship with Jenn is fake too. It's obvious it's a friendship that exists solely for the benefit of the program so that Heidi has someone else to talk to besides Spencer. It was inevitable that Lauren and Brody would hook up. They've been checking eachother out for months now. I don't see it lasting though. I think he has feelings for her but I think he's a player. Still, should be some good TV. Looking forward to the kiss. ha ha
Hahahah you could tell Katja was so intimidated by lauren being there, she seems like a b*tch! She's not very pretty either. I Love Elodie! I don't think spencer has any intention of ever marrying Heidi. Next week looks good, but I rather see Lauren with someone besides brody, he's so shady.
cannot wait for Lauren and Brody. It should be good. I really hope it is not some lame kiss but a full on make out session. haha. They will make a cute couple. Jason is an ass and no amount of rehab is going to help that. Thank god Lauren is moving on to cute and sober things. Jason was on something at the party and believe he was trying to make her jaleous. His fiance is busted to say the least and does not look to have a pleasing personality. I hope to never see him on the show again.
This week's episode was just ok as far as i'm concerned. I don't like how people are saying Jason's fiance is fugly and bitchy. She's not as pretty as Lauren but I'd hardly call her fugly. And if your fiance's ex showed up at your engagement party (bootleg though it was) making little faces at him and clearly looking like she still carried a torch for him, you wouldn't be warm and friendly either. If Jason didn't bother to tell Lauren he was dating/engaged, he probably hadn't bothered to tell his fiance that she didn't know..or probably that she was coming.
Heidi is an idiot. plain and simple. spencer has no intention of marrying her and she's too dumb to see it.
I'm kind of on team audrina with the justin bobby thing. weird as he is, lauren and lo act immature around him, giggling and making snide remarks. I don't think he's rude to them, he just clearly doesn't want to be bothered and lauren claims she's learned her lesson from speidi but always find the need to say something snarky. LC needs to shut up as far as he is concerned. Audrina needs to make her own mistakes.
And I cannot stand brody jenner. Didn't like him in season 2 (not sure how he got off blameless with the whole jen bunney thing), don't like him now. I actually prefer Lauren with Jason over Brody. At least Jason wasn't using her for fame/publicity. Even with a drug problem he was more sincere with a better personality (and considering he said five words per episode, that's saying something about brody) and actually cared for her.
Lo has been the one making fun of "Justin Bobby". Lauren hasn't done anything to him. He was rude to her first at dinner so I don't blame her for not liking him but she has done a good job of keeping her opinions to herself.
It's obvious Spencer isn't going to marry Heidi. Why else wouldn't he tell his parents? Heidi looks dumber and dumber every episode.
I like that Jenn tells Heidi that she's dumb for getting married so young.
Jason and his girl will never last. We already know he's off the wagon. If she was a good 'fiance' she never would have allowed alcohol in their house. Jason shouldn't be around that. He needs people like Lauren in his life who will be serious about him getting sober.
katja is not pretty at all. they will never get married. it is way too soon and they are way too young. not to mention he just got out of rehab. big mistake. poor heidi i almost feel bad for her. she is living in a delusional world. she should kick sleazy spencer to the curb and get her life back.
Lauren has not really done that good of a job of keeping her opinions to herself. She makes those "I disapprove" faces constantly. She treated that dinner/drinks with JB like she was judge judy and he was there to plead his case.
I do agree, however, that Lauren does not need Jason and that his marriage won't last. I think Lauren should just find someone new (which is easier said than done) and NOT Stephen, who basicaly treated her like leftover beef.

How did brody used lauren? People just assume that because he was interested in her in the beginning of S2 that he was just using her for more fame and to be on TV. First, Brody was more popular than LC at the time. Plus, he was working on getting his own show... so it is not like he needed LC. In fact, I think that Lauren benefited more from their previous brief past hookup.
Secondly, what I saw on S2 was a nice guy trying to get to know a girl. He properly asked her out. He wanted to spend time with her and get to know her better. LC was reluctant claiming that she did not want to have a boyfriend...In fact, she had a whole I hate man attitude. So obviously, he moved on... sadly to one of her best friend who clearly wanted him from the get go. He later apologized for his mistakes.
Even Jenn in her last convo with Lauren said that she did not even think that Brody even mattered.
Lauren and Brody have great chemistry these days and it probably stem from the fact that LC is more comfortable in her skin and around him. So if they want to get together... I would be a good for the hills to have a couple who actually has chemistry!
Brody was more popular than Lauren? On what planet? Brodys one and only show 'princes of malibu' was cancelled after only a few episodes aired. Maybe some people knew him vaguely from seeing him apear on the arm of Kristin or Nicole Ritchie in US weekly etc but other than that, the guy doesn't have a claim to fame. The Hills and Lauren pushed him much more visably into the limelight not vice versa.
PS If he was so interested in Lauren as a friend or otherwise why did he wait UNTIL filming started to reconnect? He and Spencer are both as fake and shady as they come, Brody just happens to be a better looking "snake"!
How do you guys know that it was until filming that they reconnected? I dont know the timeline. He was with her on her birthday because there is a TMZ video that shows them getting into a car together. Plus, one of her best friend happens to be his best friend also. I dont see any evidence that Brody was using LC. He saw a pretty girl that he liked but she gave him a hard so he moved on. Plus, Brody does not seem to be about drama and probably when the whole feud was going down he just stayed cleared. I have never read anywhere Brody stating one thing bad about LC (but he said a few about spencer). I still think that more people knew Brody than LC in the beginning and Brody helped the popularity of the hills and not vice versa.
All anyone has are opinions which is fine. No one has proof of anything. Lauren is no one's victim. She's a beautiful girl. Brody's not blind. He likes what he sees. I can't say I blame him. They're very attracted to eachother. Neither can act so IMO it's not fake. There will always be people who will distrust Brody because of the Details article. Fair enough. That's what happens when your low life best friend Spencer says stupid things in an interview. Lesson learned.

I think Jason lied about not inviting LC, because that’s probably what he told Katja. So Katja probably thinks his ex-girlfriend just shows up out of the blue and I wouldn’t blame her for being weirded out and not having the most favorable opinion of Lauren right off the bat.
And really, both LC and Katja were giving bitchface. When she came outside when LC and Jason were talking, LC wouldn’t even look at her. I know LC thinks that the new relationship doesn’t compare at all to her and Jason, but she shouldn’t let that show. Anyway, I blame Jason for this messy situation - I can’t blame either girl for being awkward.
I will say that Katja is not cute. I can’t lie - I actually kind of cringed when I saw her. I thought she was decent from pictures, but on film I thought she looked pretty bad. Maybe it was the goth eyeliner?
Am i the only one who sees Lauren's true colors? She is self-righteous and judgemental. She claims to be a good friend but a good friend is someone who will support another friend's decision, whether she likes their signicant others or not. If she was a good friend she should be happy for her friends because they found someone they like or love. She may not agree with their "stupid" decisions but that does not make it a wrong one. People have different priorities and they will make decisions on their own. She is a killjoy and a "rain on your parade" type of person. Those faces she made while talking about Katja were immature and really show what kind of person she is. She did it to Audrina in the episode where we meet Justin Bobby and now to Jason. If she is so glad that it wasn't her that was with Jason, then she needs to learn to let go of him and let him be with whomever he chooses to be. She needs to find a boyfriend ASAP so she could stop being jealous of everyone else who has a bf/gf. Misery loves company and she's the perfect example of that.

IMO, LC taking the high road would be asking Katja questions and getting to know her, not completely blowing her off. Of course, the same applies to Katja. LC was totally right to call Jason an idiot. She did not say anything about kajta she just think that he should not be getting engaged when he is trying to recover from cocaine and alcohol addiction. Come on she was being a great friend. If LC had come to the party and said I do not like the girl... she is stupid blah blah I would understand. She said nothing negative about Kajta but think that Jason should concentrate on his recovery. Kajta seemed like a jalous bitch which is understandable because she is fugly when compare to LC. I agree with the poster that talks about Lauren's self-righteousness. Her opinion is not always the right one, and I tend to think that she is just a little bitter. Sometimes it comes across as jealousy, not saying that is the case. As far as this Brody thing, he DID say some ugly things about her and basically admitted to using her saying that he intended to date every girl on The Hills because it was more camera time. It seems she is more than willing to forgive any MAN for anything, whereas females are held to higher standards. She witnessed Stephen's shady behavior in LB1, but still was used again by him in LB2. Not sure what the deal is with her needing male attention, which may be precisely why she forgives them for ANYTHING!!!!!!!
^That's incorrect that Brody said he would date every Hills girl. The Details article is very clear that it was Spencer who said that. (Which would explain why he dated Audrina and Heidi). I can understand why people think Brody said it because it was on many web sites copied incorrectly. But if you read the Details piece it is most definately Spencer's quote. I disagree, I think Katja looked dumb when she couldn't find her fiance because he was outside with his ex girlfriend instead of his fiance, and then she followed him like a puppy and shot Lauren looks. Haha she must have been so embarassed when she looked outside and saw Jason with Lauren instead of her. That sucks.
Actually It was Lauren that looked like an idiot, being at their housewarming/ engagement/whatever it was, not even saying anything to katja and hiding out with jason and ignoring katja when she came outside and kept looking in the other direction Lauren was the one who should have felt out of place when they were kissing and left her out there, she is the ex.
^Actually, Lauren was pretty polite to Katja even though the situation was so awkward. I actually thought she was trying to have a good time there despite the awkwardness. And it was Jason who followed Lauren out into the balcony, not her fault there. Also, when Katja first came out and interrupted them in the balcony, you can see Lauren look up at her and smiled but Katja just ignored her and went and talked to only Jason and pretty much pretended Lauren wasn't there. She even stood in front of Jason with her back towards Lauren, cutting her off. And when Lauren said congratulations to them, Katja again just ignored her. If anyone was rude it was Katja.

Did anyone noticed that kajta said looking toward LC "this is so stupid". This bitch is obviously insecure... especially since jason has been hanging out with his far more prettier ex-gf and they seems to have good chemistry. Kajta is fugly and she feels it next to lauren and that is why she was a complete bitch at the party. Lauren did not know that it was an engagement party... she thought that it was just a housewarming party and she was supporting jason because he has been somewhat supportive towards her in the whole sex tape scandal. People can say what they want but they both care for each other and that is why LC called him an idiot when he is engaged to a girl who is encouraging keg parties.
As far as Brody, it was not him who said... that was a quote of spencer. On the hills, Brody has only tried to date LC. She kinda gave him a hard time thus he hooked up with jenn because she was desperate. Lauren and him have amazing chemistry and I cannot wait to see the next epi; I think it might be the best of the season if MTV does not ruin it.

I definitely think Lauren's a gorgeous woman and plenty of guys are legitimately interested in her, but I'm very suspicious of Brody. Didn't Nicole Ritchie basically say that their (own) relationship was staged for publicity? I just don’t buy that this guy is sincere. All of his actions scream famewhore - namely hooking up with both LC and Jen and then reconnecting when the cameras start rolling again.
This is NOT an anti-Lauren post...I just don't want her to look like a fool. And I realize that it's possible that he's sincere - I just wish she would be a little more cautious with him, especially while being filmed.
Regardless, I think she could do A LOT better than Brody. LC's very sweet and gorgeous, but she has terrible taste in men.
We all need to relax. I doubt Lauren wants anything serious with Brody. She's having cake and eating it too. She's having fun. Based on how her and Brody interact with each other, they're obviously attracted to each other and have good chemistry, so why not have a little fun? Nothing wrong with a little making out action in Vegas. Its a magical place. Yes, i'm speaking based on experience. :)
I LOVE Lauren but I can't stand Brody. Just because some of us don't like the guy why label us Lauren haters? I think Lauren is beautiful and could have her pick of a lot of different guys which is exactly why she should bypass Brody. Like it or not the guy is shady.
I have to disagree with some of yall. Brody has not done anything to make him a shady. He did kiss jenn but Lauren did not seem interested in him in fact I dont really think that they were dating at the time. plus jenn initiated the hookup along with heidi and spencer. I think that he is a good person and is probably a lot smater than we give him credit for. He told spencer he was too young to get married and did not allow spencer to control his life and not befriend lauren. so I think he is a decent guy but has gotten a bad rap because of his association with spencer. He will make a better boyfriend for lauren than jason could ever be. that is just my opinion.

Tonite episode was good, I like that it had very little heidi and spencer.
Lauren: I really feel sorry for her. I am not sure if she wanted to give jason another chance but it seemed that she was blind sighted by the news that jason was moving in with his gf. I really think Jason cannot be a part of her life. He just makes her miserable. She has to realize that for herself. I thought she handled herself really classy with the whole engagement debacle. I would have seriously went to my car and left. She did not seemed jaleous to me... it seems that she was concerned because he is not supposed to even be dating anyone based on his program's rules.
Jason: Always knew he was an asshole and tonite was no different. He never appreciate LC when she was his gf and now his friend. He could have warned her about the engagement and set up another time for them to meet. Heck, he could have told her sooner that he had a serious gf. The engagement seemed funny with the beer that was flowing and jason seemed to be drinking again.
Katja: Fugly and Bitchy. She does look like a man and quite insecure. I would give her some credit since LC is gorgeous but she could have been nicer.
Whitney: I just love her. Her and Lauren have a great friendship and she gives LC some good advice. Lauren should not talk to Jason for a while and move on with her life. She handled the shoot well... too bad Lisa Love chewed her out.
Jenn: She looks good and seemed to give Heidi some decent advice.
Speidi: Losers. They are total fakers and cannot keep their story straight. If his grandmother is calling him and telling him to buy us weekly surely they know that he is engaged. I really could not care for them either way.
Next Week: hehehehe LC and Brody!!! A couple worth watching.
Here are my scattered random thoughts
I will always hope Jason gets his shit together but I HATE the way he continually sets Lauren up. He had every opportunity to tell her he was in a serious committed relationship yet he mentioned nothing when she visited him in rehab, when they had dinner at Ketchup and a subsequent lunch. I'm sorry but, wtf? If you really care about Lauren why not be 100% honest and upfront with her? Unless you want her to think you're still available? Games, games games...
And then there was the other set-up at the "housewarming" party. I'm guessing they were already engaged when Jason finally got around to telling Lauren he had a gf! More "manufactured" drama for optimum Jason MTV time? And of course all of this "drama" sets the stage for Katja and Lauren to not get along which in turn kills the chance of them ever becoming friends and comparing notes. Hmmm, Jason hasn't changed much...
and was it just me or did it seem like he'd been drinking when he was talking to Lauren outside of the party?
LOVED seeing more Whitney but I do think she dropped the ball in going out.
She put herself in the role of a "buddy". of course he wasn't going to put on those jeans. A "buddy" would understand he liked his own pair of jeans better. I think Whitney felt betrayed but she kind of set herself up. Very reminiscent of the 1st season when heidi crashed that party.

bleh...I don't believe anything about this relationship, there's too many contradictory stories. Heidi acts like she doesn't talk to his parents and yet supposedly they spend all their time there? Ridiculous.. I've taken to staring at Spencer's teeth when they're talking, They are blindingly white and look ridiculously like chicklets. As long as I look at the teeth and zone out - I'm good! ;) lol
LOVED the conversation at the end with Whitney and Lauren. It was great seeing Lauren put things in perspective and seeing the light so to speak in terms of Jason.

Ok, the housewarming party happened last month, remember the interview Jason did with this guy where Perez Hilton chimmed (sp) in about the sex tape rumor, Jason clearly stated he was in a committed relationship. This interview happened way before the housewarming party. Lauren knew he was in a relationship. This is all staged drama which was not necessary, because it was so lame.
Why did Jason tell Us Magazine such a blatant lie. "Lauren showed up at the housewarming party uninvited." Um Hello, that was not what I saw in today's episode.

I thought this was going to be another episode where poor, pathetic Lauren is still hung up on Jason... WRONG. She looked around the room, took note of the fact that it could have been her in Katja's shoes and woke up-FAST.

I have mixed feelings on Jason. He seemed genuinely concerned about Lauren's feelings and repeatedly asked her if she was okay. I also like how Lauren is straight with Jason. I think in reality she knew he had a gf.
They seem too close for him to have kept it a secret.
Speidi is as everyone has said: fake. They fake fight to get more air time. Of course Spencer's parents knew about the engagement.
It's all just lies to keep their fugs on camera. And Heidi's friendship with Jenn is fake too.
It's obvious it's a friendship that exists solely for the benefit of the program so that Heidi has someone else to talk to besides Spencer.
It was inevitable that Lauren and Brody would hook up. They've been checking eachother out for months now. I don't see it lasting though. I think he has feelings for her but I think he's a player.

Jason is an ass and no amount of rehab is going to help that. Thank god Lauren is moving on to cute and sober things. Jason was on something at the party and believe he was trying to make her jaleous. His fiance is busted to say the least and does not look to have a pleasing personality. I hope to never see him on the show again.
This week's episode was just ok as far as i'm concerned. I don't like how people are saying Jason's fiance is fugly and bitchy. She's not as pretty as Lauren but I'd hardly call her fugly. And if your fiance's ex showed up at your engagement party (bootleg though it was) making little faces at him and clearly looking like she still carried a torch for him, you wouldn't be warm and friendly either. If Jason didn't bother to tell Lauren he was dating/engaged, he probably hadn't bothered to tell his fiance that she didn't know..or probably that she was coming.
Heidi is an idiot. plain and simple. spencer has no intention of marrying her and she's too dumb to see it.
I'm kind of on team audrina with the justin bobby thing. weird as he is, lauren and lo act immature around him, giggling and making snide remarks. I don't think he's rude to them, he just clearly doesn't want to be bothered and lauren claims she's learned her lesson from speidi but always find the need to say something snarky. LC needs to shut up as far as he is concerned. Audrina needs to make her own mistakes.
And I cannot stand brody jenner. Didn't like him in season 2 (not sure how he got off blameless with the whole jen bunney thing), don't like him now. I actually prefer Lauren with Jason over Brody. At least Jason wasn't using her for fame/publicity. Even with a drug problem he was more sincere with a better personality (and considering he said five words per episode, that's saying something about brody) and actually cared for her.
Lo has been the one making fun of "Justin Bobby". Lauren hasn't done anything to him. He was rude to her first at dinner so I don't blame her for not liking him but she has done a good job of keeping her opinions to herself.
It's obvious Spencer isn't going to marry Heidi. Why else wouldn't he tell his parents? Heidi looks dumber and dumber every episode.
I like that Jenn tells Heidi that she's dumb for getting married so young.
Jason and his girl will never last. We already know he's off the wagon. If she was a good 'fiance' she never would have allowed alcohol in their house. Jason shouldn't be around that. He needs people like Lauren in his life who will be serious about him getting sober.

Lauren has not really done that good of a job of keeping her opinions to herself. She makes those "I disapprove" faces constantly. She treated that dinner/drinks with JB like she was judge judy and he was there to plead his case.
I do agree, however, that Lauren does not need Jason and that his marriage won't last. I think Lauren should just find someone new (which is easier said than done) and NOT Stephen, who basicaly treated her like leftover beef.

How did brody used lauren? People just assume that because he was interested in her in the beginning of S2 that he was just using her for more fame and to be on TV. First, Brody was more popular than LC at the time. Plus, he was working on getting his own show... so it is not like he needed LC. In fact, I think that Lauren benefited more from their previous brief past hookup.
Secondly, what I saw on S2 was a nice guy trying to get to know a girl. He properly asked her out. He wanted to spend time with her and get to know her better. LC was reluctant claiming that she did not want to have a boyfriend...In fact, she had a whole I hate man attitude. So obviously, he moved on... sadly to one of her best friend who clearly wanted him from the get go. He later apologized for his mistakes.
Even Jenn in her last convo with Lauren said that she did not even think that Brody even mattered.
Lauren and Brody have great chemistry these days and it probably stem from the fact that LC is more comfortable in her skin and around him. So if they want to get together... I would be a good for the hills to have a couple who actually has chemistry!

Brody was more popular than Lauren? On what planet? Brodys one and only show 'princes of malibu' was cancelled after only a few episodes aired. Maybe some people knew him vaguely from seeing him apear on the arm of Kristin or Nicole Ritchie in US weekly etc but other than that, the guy doesn't have a claim to fame. The Hills and Lauren pushed him much more visably into the limelight not vice versa.
PS If he was so interested in Lauren as a friend or otherwise why did he wait UNTIL filming started to reconnect? He and Spencer are both as fake and shady as they come, Brody just happens to be a better looking "snake"!
How do you guys know that it was until filming that they reconnected? I dont know the timeline. He was with her on her birthday because there is a TMZ video that shows them getting into a car together. Plus, one of her best friend happens to be his best friend also. I dont see any evidence that Brody was using LC. He saw a pretty girl that he liked but she gave him a hard so he moved on. Plus, Brody does not seem to be about drama and probably when the whole feud was going down he just stayed cleared. I have never read anywhere Brody stating one thing bad about LC (but he said a few about spencer). I still think that more people knew Brody than LC in the beginning and Brody helped the popularity of the hills and not vice versa.
PS. Brody was a successful model even appearing in DKNY and Guess ads.

I think Jason lied about not inviting LC, because that’s probably what he told Katja. So Katja probably thinks his ex-girlfriend just shows up out of the blue and I wouldn’t blame her for being weirded out and not having the most favorable opinion of Lauren right off the bat.
And really, both LC and Katja were giving bitchface. When she came outside when LC and Jason were talking, LC wouldn’t even look at her. I know LC thinks that the new relationship doesn’t compare at all to her and Jason, but she shouldn’t let that show. Am i the only one who sees Lauren's true colors? She is self-righteous and judgemental. She claims to be a good friend but a good friend is someone who will support another friend's decision, whether she likes their signicant others or not. If she was a good friend she should be happy for her friends because they found someone they like or love. She may not agree with their "stupid" decisions but that does not make it a wrong one. People have different priorities and they will make decisions on their own. She is a killjoy and a "rain on your parade" type of person. Those faces she made while talking about Katja were immature and really show what kind of person she is. She did it to Audrina in the episode where we meet Justin Bobby and now to Jason. If she is so glad that it wasn't her that was with Jason, then she needs to learn to let go of him and let him be with whomever he chooses to be. Yes, I saw LC making bitchfaces and basically blowing off Katja. I saw Katja do the same thing. I'm not saying it was more LC than Katja, just that they were both doing it. I just don’t think it's fair to say Katja was being mean when LC was doing the exact same thing.
IMO, LC taking the high road would be asking Katja questions and getting to know her, not completely blowing her off. Of course, the same applies to Katja. LC was totally right to call Jason an idiot. She did not say anything about kajta she just think that he should not be getting engaged when he is trying to recover from cocaine and alcohol addiction. Come on she was being a great friend. If LC had come to the party and said I do not like the girl... she is stupid blah blah I would understand. She said nothing negative about Kajta but think that Jason should concentrate on his recovery. Kajta seemed like a jalous bitch which is understandable because she is fugly when compare to LC. Jason down grade a lot but then again he was never in LC league. Lauren needs to concentrate on her own love life. Hence, brody jenner who is totally in her league.

I agree with the poster that talks about Lauren's self-righteousness. Her opinion is not always the right one, and I tend to think that she is just a little bitter. Sometimes it comes across as jealousy, not saying that is the case. As far as this Brody thing, he DID say some ugly things about her and basically admitted to using her saying that he intended to date every girl on The Hills because it was more camera time. It seems she is more than willing to forgive any MAN for anything, whereas females are held to higher standards. She witnessed Stephen's shady behavior in LB1, but still was used again by him in LB2. Not sure what the deal is with her needing male attention, which may be precisely why she forgives them for ANYTHING!!!!!!!

I disagree, I think Katja looked dumb when she couldn't find her fiance because he was outside with his ex girlfriend instead of his fiance, and then she followed him like a puppy and shot Lauren looks. Haha she must have been so embarassed when she looked outside and saw Jason with Lauren instead of her. That sucks.
Actually It was Lauren that looked like an idiot, being at their housewarming/ engagement/whatever it was, not even saying anything to katja and hiding out with jason and ignoring katja when she came outside and kept looking in the other direction Lauren was the one who should have felt out of place when they were kissing and left her out there, she is the ex.
^Actually, Lauren was pretty polite to Katja even though the situation was so awkward. I actually thought she was trying to have a good time there despite the awkwardness. And it was Jason who followed Lauren out into the balcony, not her fault there. Also, when Katja first came out and interrupted them in the balcony, you can see Lauren look up at her and smiled but Katja just ignored her and went and talked to only Jason and pretty much pretended Lauren wasn't there. She even stood in front of Jason with her back towards Lauren, cutting her off. And when Lauren said congratulations to them, Katja again just ignored her. If anyone was rude it was Katja.

2. Katja is a horrible fiance to let Jason have a housewarming party with a keg. What a biotch for not giving a crap about her newly out of rehab fiance.
3. Lauren needs to be done with Jason. Let him make stupid choices on his own... she is too good to him. If only his other friends cared as much as her maybe he would never even needed rehab.
4. Jenn is definitely the "smart" one out of her and Heidi, but their friendship seems SO forced. Heidi seems so uninterested in what Jenn is saying half the time, and not even looking at her when she's talking. Did anyone noticed that kajta said looking toward LC "this is so stupid". This bitch is obviously insecure... especially since jason has been hanging out with his far more prettier ex-gf and they seems to have good chemistry. Kajta is fugly and she feels it next to lauren and that is why she was a complete bitch at the party. Lauren did not know that it was an engagement party... she thought that it was just a housewarming party and she was supporting jason because he has been somewhat supportive towards her in the whole sex tape scandal. People can say what they want but they both care for each other and that is why LC called him an idiot when he is engaged to a girl who is encouraging keg parties.
As far as Brody, it was not him who said... that was a quote of spencer. On the hills, Brody has only tried to date LC. She kinda gave him a hard time thus he hooked up with jenn because she was desperate. Lauren and him have amazing chemistry and I cannot wait to see the next epi; I think it might be the best of the season if MTV does not ruin it.

Ok guys, but don't you now, more than ever, see how scripted this show really is? I mean, seriously.

I cannot stand Lauren haters. No guy in the world could be interested in her. According to these haters, she is ugly and has nothing going for her so there is no way that Brody could possibly find her attractive and wants to be with her. Haters need to get over themselves. Brody has always had a thing for her and their chemistry can be see when they interact. He is not using her and has never used her. The stupid quote was from spencer. get over it already.
^ Yeah that's why brody suddenly appears in lauren life when the Hills is filming, Brody Jenner is a player and I doubt he would call Laureh his girlfriend, stop being so nieve and realize the show is scripted.
I definitely think Lauren's a gorgeous woman and plenty of guys are legitimately interested in her, but I'm very suspicious of Brody. Didn't Nicole Ritchie basically say that their (own) relationship was staged for publicity? I just don’t buy that this guy is sincere. All of his actions scream famewhore - namely hooking up with both LC and Jen and then reconnecting when the cameras start rolling again.
This is NOT an anti-Lauren post...I just don't want her to look like a fool. And I realize that it's possible that he's sincere - I just wish she would be a little more cautious with him, especially while being filmed.
Regardless, I think she could do A LOT better than Brody. LC's very sweet and gorgeous, but she has terrible taste in men.
We all need to relax. I doubt Lauren wants anything serious with Brody. She's having cake and eating it too. She's having fun. Based on how her and Brody interact with each other, they're obviously attracted to each other and have good chemistry, so why not have a little fun? Nothing wrong with a little making out action in Vegas. Its a magical place. Yes, i'm speaking based on experience. :)
I LOVE Lauren but I can't stand Brody. Just because some of us don't like the guy why label us Lauren haters? I think Lauren is beautiful and could have her pick of a lot of different guys which is exactly why she should bypass Brody. Like it or not the guy is shady.
I have to disagree with some of yall. Brody has not done anything to make him a shady. He did kiss jenn but Lauren did not seem interested in him in fact I dont really think that they were dating at the time. plus jenn initiated the hookup along with heidi and spencer. I think that he is a good person and is probably a lot smater than we give him credit for. He told spencer he was too young to get married and did not allow spencer to control his life and not befriend lauren. so I think he is a decent guy but has gotten a bad rap because of his association with spencer. He will make a better boyfriend for lauren than jason could ever be. that is just my opinion.
^ I agree. I don't hate Brody and IMO he hasn't done anything wrong.
