A spy at Lauren Conrad's New York debut of her self-named clothing line complained she was nothing like her good-girl image off-camera.
"Lauren was in the booth and rolling her eyes the entire time she was there when the cameras weren't on," said a snitch at the Coterie trade show.
"She was obnoxious to buyers as they were shopping in her booth and refused to say hello. But when the cameras turned on, Lauren immediately perked up and pretended to be interested."
Blogging "Hills" fans also made fun of the show this week, by pointing out a sequence allegedly of her on a date, and reflecting on it afterward. (Somehow, she had found time to change her hair and nail polish.)
The show's "villains," Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, were recently ridiculed for staging arrival and departure scenes at LAX, when she was supposed to have to gone to Colorado in the space of a wardrobe change.

i don't know, i do believe that it's real. but it's just the way mtv edits it, i noticed since season one. i still like lauren no matter what.
If there are still people who think that Lauren is never in a bad or bitchy mood then they're fooling themselves. She's human.

They've already admitted on Laguna Beach that if something big happens while the cameras are not filming, they re-enact the scene to capture it. The moment really happened, but what we see is just a redo.
I was just reading a magazine that had an interview with Eva Mendes and she was talking about her pregnancy rumors. She said, "I had just finished a pasta meal and my tummy was haning out. Then suddenly it was all over the Internet: baby bump. Eva's pregnant! And they said I was coming out of a prenatal yoga class - I don't even go to regular yoga!" Tabloids blow everything out of proprtion and misinterpret the facts!!
And as someone mentioned before, the girl is allowed to be bitchy, she's not an angel. I don't believe this anways, it just seems like a way to douse negative publicity on Lauren after varnish-gate. Everyone one who dislikes her is trying to get their piece in now

^ah I see the LC haters are out and about today. LOL Like those who love her would give a crap what they say, knowing they are jealous that she is more loved and successful than that other LB girl they staunchly defend. Soooo funny:)

Even so, an event debuting your clothing line is an extremely unprofessional and inappropriate time to start acting obnoxious. Especially when the receiving end of your tantrums are your potential buyers.

but yeah, let's be serious now, LC is totally not the same person she was on LB and yes, she has "matured" (not in my opinion but w/e) but YOU DO NOT REALLY KNOW LC you just know the way MTV portrays her and you should all remember that!!
on another note, it's "mtv reality" tv, maybe it's not 100% fake, but it sure is close to that, but WHO CARES, it's good tv!
I hope she does The Hills forever. Great show to watch.
