Attention, Team LC: Put down the champagne and take off your party hats! Today's Heidi Montag website confession that she and Spencer Pratt started the Lauren Conrad sex tape rumor is a fake.Hills star Montag, 21, tells Usmagazine.com, "It's really sad that someone would stoop so low as to hack into mine and Spencer's sites. The comments that appeared on our sites were not written by us and are obviously not true. We are having this incident investigated."
Maybe Speidi should limit their suspects to the grammatically challenged. The false post in question (which has since been removed from Montag's site) read, "The truth: Me and Spencer did spread the false rumors about Lauren's sex tape."
The hacker's mea culpa came conveniently after last night's SexTapeGate-centric Hills episode, in which Montag placed the blame on Brody Jenner. For his part, Jenner told LC he knew "100% for a fact that [Montag and Pratt] did it."

update: no word yet on whether speidi hacked into their own website.

You know what's sad? That they think people care about them. They're the ones that stoop so low. Calling the paparazzi to take pictures of them at their outings. "Oh we're sooo in love"

yeah good point. why would the hacker wait until now? why not after the premiere when the fight at the club was shown? why not after the time they were at Ketchup and Heidi and Spencer were make immature comments to Lauren and Spencer? I think she admitted it and then is taking it back for attention.
