An "insider" from "The Hills" tells PerezHilton.com, "She doesn't really work there when the cameras are off." What's more, another source says that Spencer Pratt and Heidi wanted to get married on the show, but that L.C. threatened to ditch the next season if that happened.
Speaking of L.C., a guy who was brought in to "date" her tells BestWeekEver.tv that Lauren really is as vapid as she seems. "She's kind of a conversation killer," says Gavin Beasley. "The lack of depth was actually uncomfortable for me. Like, how can nothing be everything you talk about?" (Other hightlights: L.C. is "odorless" and Spencer "really is like that.")

I'm curious to see if Heidi has been fired from Bolthouse and they just don't want us to know yet. Guess time and 'reality TV' will tell.
This is laurens show, the cameras are following lauren around so i dont get why heidi and spencer thought that they could get married on her show are they insane, im glad lauren put her footdown and said NO. oh and im glad there is gonna be another season <3 :)
Why did elodie leave if she knew the whole thing was staged?

Oh if I were Elodie I would leave. Seems like Heidi was getting special treatment. Days off, promotions, access to events even though she had only been there a short time.

i do think that elodie worked there but got sick of heidis crap just like everyone else, and i think heidi does something to get fired she is dumb.
well of course that heidi doesn't work there! i mean coming from a girl like her , it's like if spencer tells her: stay in today, it's better for you... I mean come on! she and lauren probably are friends again who knows! i'm sure the show is so fake, like there are just their names that are real but the rest is just fake, of course mtv is looking for drama! my point is that laguna beach was a good project to me because i live in france and we don't know the american high schools so it was fun to see these teenagers and all that, but the hills is just lauren's life ,dating .. there aren't that many scenes at teen vogue anymore, which is sad..
Without that spencer drama the show would be nothing now that jason is gone.

i think also that lauren is a hypocrite! she doesn't want speidi to go too far like to get married, but she could have cancelled the show for season three! she just knew they were good material for drama, and if she was a tiny bit smart she would know that being a reality tv star dating onscreen and being sad over loosing a friend like heidi who has fake boobs,nose,boyfriend,job.. I mean how does lauren want to be taken seriously by the fashion world and look like a serious designer if she's just looking for the spotlight, cause it's not like she needs money because she has a job at teen vogue and has wealthy parents as well so...
