I could defintly understand a place not wanting the likes of Paris Hilton to come in though, I can't blame them there.
We don't see everything in Laurens life and every move she makes, only the parts MTV wants us to see. No viewer here personally knows her on a friend level. I'm not trying to be a hater either, just giving my opinion. I think she is a very talented girl and I hope she sticks with the fashion dream she has.
I think a lot of it has to do with the papparazzi. They don't want cameras swarming the place. Unfortunately, the paps are after Lauren right now. That has always been something Lauren never wanted in her life. I think once the cameras are gone and the focus is more on fashion, she'll do just fine. She already is.
“No trash” - wow, that’s pretty rude. I can understand them not wanting her because she’s a reality star and let’s face it, that’s not always a respected profession and most A-listers don’t really want to associate with them.
But unless there’s something we don’t know about (i.e. she’s getting completely wasted while dancing on tables in skimpy outfits or something like that) I don’t think it’s quite accurate to call her trash. That’s a little uncalled for IMO.
She's always drunk and she hooks up with a different guy every three days. She's a total alkie whore with no substance. It's funny because the Lauren worshippers think she's some deeper level of HOllywood...she's a less pretty, less rich, just as empty Paris Hilton. Stop deluding yourselves.
^Always drunk? When and where? If anything, Lauren has always demonstrated responsible consumption. She doesn't get stupid wasted and she always hails a cab. The hooking up with different guys thing were all undocumented with no real source or proof that it's even happening. And no one here thinks she's some deeper level of Hollywood. You're on your own on that. Though, we should give Lauren credit for not being that typical reality-TV star like Paris or Speidi, who make total assess of themselves for publicity. Lauren has never acted out like the way they do to get attention. She actually DOES something. She was offered a once in a lifetime opportunity from MTV that may or may not help her career in fashion and she took that chance. And so far it seems to be working. If you were in her position and was offered the same thing, wouldn't you go for it too? You'd be dumb not to.

2:21, and you know this because you're who again? I'm sorry, are you an insider or representative of the fashion world? Right. Didn't think so. I think Lauren is doing alright. This is evidenced in the last episode. Lauren looked competent and professional and we've also seen her socializing with respectable designers like Marc Jacobs. Here's a little scoop: that wasn't the first time they've met. They're actually pretty friendly with each other and have been photographed together a couple of times before last week's episode. Don't believe me? Look it up.
