Audrina Patridge is planning a field trip from the Hollywood Hills to a Hollywood set.
The MTV reality star has hired a new agent and has quickly begun negotiations for her first movie role.
"We only just started working with her, but are already in talks for a feature film," Patridge's new rep, Jonathan Perry of Agency for Performing Arts, exclusively tells E! News.
Perry, who also represents Alyson Hannigan, Gina Gershon and the Kardashian clan, has big plans for The Hills star.
"She wants to do other things besides stay in that reality space," says Perry. "We are going to be getting her some television roles outside of The Hills, if they allow it. A lot of it is going to depend on what The Hills will be signing off on."
Patridge tapped Perry to energize her career after firing her previous agents at UTA, which still reps Hills cohort Lauren Conrad. (Patridge is still with her longtime manager, Gladys Gonzalez.)
"Audrina is interested in a lot of things, and I know she wants to get more involved with the Hollywood community on many levels," adds Perry. "We just started working with her a week ago. Our job is to create opportunity for her."

I don't really see Audrina making a successful transition to acting. Appearing on the hills has definitely given her leverage and a certain audience, but unfortunately she can't make-up in personality what she lacks in raw acting talent. This is where I give Kristin Cavallari credit. Though her acting has left much to be desired of, she can at least trade on her personality- her vivacity and presence- to capture an audience's attention. And still, it hasn't been easy for her; she's had to take mediocre roles and more than once has used her laguna beach fame to remain relevant in the media. So I think Audrina has an uphill battle on her hands even more so because the Hills has an expiration date. When the Hills ends, so does her bid to become an actress. Afterall, who would want to hire an ex-reality star who always played second fiddle?
Oh...and one more thing... Audrina has the personality of a dead fish- just lifeless. Not to mention boring as hell. Her happy face is the same as her angry face. She's also been called dumb as f@ck by several bloggers in the know. Seriously, would you want to hire that to act in your films? I don't think so.

she's a pretty girl and a sweet girl - i think a lot of shows would be happy to have her. look what britney did for the 'how i met your mother ratings'? yes, i know audrina is not britney but having a hills person would def cause a bunch of people to tune in, me included!

I personally doubt that she does, but to be fair, I've never seen her actually try to act.
5:24, but isn't the hills badly acted faux reality? it's already been proven that some of the scenes are less than authentic. I don't think Audrina has the talent to sustain a susccessful acting career, because honestly, if she did she would have been doing that already.
I wish Audrina the best as well. She seems like a nice girl, but I don't think acting is in the cards for her. Modeling would be a better and probably more lucrative reach.
Audrina may be pretty, but I don't see her being a very talented actress.

I'm going to keep it real audrina is a nice girl but she's not that pretty and she her personality well is kinda boring its going to take a lot to make it to become a real movie star does anyone know of a reality star that has crossed over to become a real star? But hey good luck audrina.
