Monday, May 12, 2008 || Audrina To Star in Into the Blue 2
The Hills star, 22, will appear in Into the Blue 2, the follow-up to Alba's 2005 beach flick.
Patridge plays a no-nonsense, beautiful beach babe whose boyfriend caters to her every command, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The role is "giving me the chance to show people [what I can do]," Patridge, who recently canned her agent for not getting her enough gigs, told Ryan Seacrest on May 8. "This is why I moved to L.A."
Could another Hills feud start? Patridge is the first star from the reality show to begin acting in movies. (Pal Lauren Conrad appeared in 2007's Epic Movie as herself.)
Perhaps.
"The drama is still unfolding," Patridge told Seacrest.

umm never seen into the Blue .. hopefully it will be a good film..
i loved the first into the blue movie - you would like it if you liked the movie "honey" - it's not rocket science but it's a good fun flick.

while audrina comes off as decent person on the show, I really don't see her as an actress. btw, this has straight to dvd written all over it.
i liked the first movie too so i hope this does well! chris comack from the 1st season of the OC is going to be in it too. he's such a hottie!

i dont know she seems somewhat dull on the hills.. sounds like the film will sux.. she doesnt come off as an actress to me either.. maybe they teach her in acting class how not to be so dull and boring.. even the way she talks its like she hasnt eaten in a while.. but HOPING FOR THE BETTER HOPEFULLY SHE WILL MAKE IT AND BECOME SO FAMOUS SO WE DONT HAVE TO SEE HER ON THE HILLS ANYMORE..

i love audrina on the hills, lauren has been boring lately since all she does is chase guys who don't want her and lo is just boring period (how much shopping and eating can one girl do!) whitney and audrina are the most interesting part of the hills right now!!
i think this is a great role for audrina, yes she can show off her body (so did jessica alba btw in part 1) but she'll also be able to try out her acting chops too.i wish her all the luck in the world. team audrina!!

lauren's cameo was actually suprisingly good in epic movie and i'm looking forward to seeing into the blue 2 as well. Who knows if it will be successful or if it will bomb but I give the girl props for trying.
yay audrina - she said in her interview after the finale that she was leaving tomm (tues) to start filming so she must be there by now.

i hope she doesn't come off as an airhead known for just her body. I hope she can actually pull in off and make it more like Blue Crush. Not counting on it though.

the original into the blue did decently at the box office but then they quadrupled their money when it went to dvd - im sure part 2 will do something similiar
just read the movie IS going to go direct to dvd because that's how the first film made all it's money - in a way it kind of makes sense -since they're shooting on a small budget and filming over a 6 week period in Oahu. The film is tentatively named "The Reef"
