Heidi Montag doesn't miss her once-close friendship with Lauren Conrad
"It's kind of like a weight off my shoulders," the Hills star said of the demise in a taped interview with Ellen DeGeneres airing Monday.
"Towards the end of our relationship she was just always yelling at me and nagging at me because she didn't like my boyfriend [Spencer Pratt]," Montag said.
"She had a boyfriend I didn't like for several years but I didn't really think that was my job [to say anything]," she added. "I was kind of like let's just go our own ways."
Montag and Conrad's friendship – they were once roommates, too – fizzled over their different opinions about Pratt as well as Conrad's claim that Montag and Pratt spread rumors that a sex tape of Conrad existed.
The once BFFs had not been together for about two years until they were photographed for the current cover of Rolling Stone.
"They're all having fun and I'm like let's just get it done," Montag said of the shoot, which also included Hills co-stars Whitney Port and Audrina Patridge. "I mean... awkward!"

Nobody talks to her unless it's about Lauren. Notice when somebody asks Lauren about Heidi she just keeps her mouth shut then the interviewer will go on to talk to her about other things. With Heidi they don't do that. It's all about Lauren.
Heidi's whole "claim to fame' is being Lauren's enemy - it's the only reason they have her on all these show to begin with. I mean honestly what else could she talk about? None of us care about her. With Lauren (or Whitney or Audrina) it's always fun to hear little tidbits about their lives but no one give a rats arse what Heidi does in her free time or what type of music she listens to. you know?

I dont know why these host keep inviting Heidi on, she says the same thing, she sounds like a broken record. I can predict the whole interview without watching it.

It's funny how Heidi was sooooo desperate to be friends with Lauren again and once she realized that wasn't going to happen, she's claiming that she thought they should part ways and that she's totally fine. BS to the nth degree is what it is

i think its pretty low how they have lauren on the talk show first and then have heidi to follow with her "narrative"it makes lauren look bad.
