In a new promo for season 4 of The Hills, Lauren Conrad has a new guy, baseball player Doug Reinhardt. Find out what happens on- and offscreen after the jump.
As quickly as it started, it has ended for Lauren Conrad and her baseball beau Doug Reinhardt, who’s featured in the upcoming season of The Hills.
A pal of Reinhardt’s says he realized things were over with Conrad at a recent birthday barbecue for Hills star Audrina Patridge (which other sources say will air on the show). “Brody [Jenner], Frankie [Delgado] and Doug got upset that Stephanie Pratt was there. Doug and Lauren got into a fight about it,” says the pal. “He just decided he’s over it. He thought that Lauren’s gotten a bit of a big head and didn’t like he way he felt he was being portrayed on the show.”
Reinhardt isn’t wasting any time easing back into the game. The minor leaguer for the Baltimore Orioles was recently spotted out to dinner with his longtime ex-girlfriend Allie Lutz, 22, a USC graduate, at L.A.’s STK and again Tuesday at the Coco de Ville lounge opening in LA.
In fact, Reinhardt’s been spotted getting cozy with a bevy of ladies all around town. At Goa in March, he chatted and exchanged numbers with a tall blonde. The next day at the Better Bacon-hosted bungalow to celebrate the artwork of disabled children, Reinhardt picked up another number. With pal Brody Jenner by his side, Doug immediately took notice of a beautiful brunette and asked for her number, to which her response was, “Buy a piece of art.” Not only did Doug buy a piece of art, he picked out three different pieces in just 10 minutes!
Reinhardt and Conrad briefly dated in high school (when he and Lutz were on a break) but things recently started up again at the suggestion of his pals. “Frankie thought that it would be a great idea if Doug and Lauren dated, he thought they were a good match,” says the pal.
The source says things officially ended earlier this month with an on-camera split, “Lauren went over to Doug’s house to officially breakup on camera.” Says the source, “I have a feeling you won’t be seeing them together anytime soon.”

what is up w/ Lauren & guys? the only real bf she has had is jason and he's a total dirtbag - the rest have all just been hook up buddies. Lauren needs to rethink this whole I only want to date a bad boy strategy - obviously it's not working for her...
Poor Lauren.. she never has luck with men.
At least she realized it was not going to work out and broke up with him before it was too late.
Lauren's too into her girlfriends to have a bf. That's why whenever one of her girlfriend's get a guy their really into, she gets all upset.
How can he not like the way he was being portrayed on the show? He hasn't even been on the show yet!

i dont know why but watching this preview reminded me of a movie or something, especially with that music playing.
i can see lauren in a longer term relationship once the hills is over, seems like too much of her time is in the show and all the publicity around it neg and pos.
i still think the hills should end while they have a good thing going. maybe they will make season 4 the final season, im just tired of speidi and they all seem to be looking a little fake.

its become apparent that LC has totally erased them out of her life and they are so deseperate to get in it they'll do anything. thats probably why they cant stand others befriending her and them going to such great lengths to talk about her every chance they get because thats the only way it'll get her attention.
^Oh really. If Lauren is so over it, why was she grilling Audrina about all of her encounters with Heidi? Why did she mention them to Whitney at work? If she's really over it, she wouldn't have brought it up. Why did she care so much if she's "totally erased them" as you say? Why did Gavin Beasely say that Lauren kept talking about how much she hated Heidi during dinner (but stopped all serious talk once the cameras started rolling)? No, I'm sure she's still holding a huge grudge against them and thinks about how she can get back at them all the time. Lauren has weird personality issues, just like Talan did. She will never be as lighthearted and forgiving and out going and friendly as Kristin and some of the other girls. It's her nature.
Why would Doug be mad that Stephanie was at the party? Doesn't make sense...

8:26 is a Kristin fan u can tell she is not even mention in this post but still feel the needs to bring her up. Get over it u can stop hating on Lauren LB days are over, Lauren now has her own fictional reality show that u seem to be obsessed with it because u seem to know everything the girl has said and done in her life. Wait a minute- I only used Kristin because it's another person that most of us are familiar with. Maybe I should have said Jennifer Aniston. lol. By the way, I too am over the whole Speidi thing. It's just too fake. The only reason I posted was because don't believe Lauren is over it and I basically gave you the proof that shows you she isn't over it. I just have really good memory, that's all. And I thought it was strange that the person posting above me didn't remember any of those things/scenes that I mentioned. I think a lot of people only remember things they want so they can believe what they want. (And yes, this statement can probably be applied to me as well)
i think she would like to be over it, but heidi and spencer won't let her. how could she be over it when those two tools are off yelling "sex tape" at anybody who will listen.
of course she is going to talk about them when the cover of us weekly is about their supposed plot to take her down. it's not weird she talks about it, it would be weird if she didn't.

12:55 AM if you are trying to "get over" it and someone keeps trying to get into your life and mess up your personal life then you too would talk about it.
if you watch the hills and the interviews she never talks about it UNLESS they have done something involving herself or friends.
btw, as forgiving as kristin... lol you've got to be kidding. between lauren and kristin lauren is more forgiving. kristin is the biggest grudge holder not to mention insecure and jealous of all the lb kids.
I agree, I think Lauren has some weird personality issues.
Lauren doesn't seem like a very forgiving person to me. She is only "forgiving" when it comes to guys. and that is only because she has no backbone/standards when it comes to the way they treat her. When they don't treat her right, she'll pout for a little while and then go right back to being all coy and girly with them.
^Not true. She forgave Jen bunney and Kristin. She also forgave Heidi over the Jen Bunney incident.
But once the sex tape rumors hit her forgiveness ended.
I agree she is too forgiving with guys however.
