The Hills rolled through trendy Fred Segal today, proving retail therapy can make gal-pals out of anyone. Even Audrina Patridge and Lo Bosworth, whom we last saw at odds for Lauren Conrad's good favor on the show.
After arriving around 11a.m. at the trendy Melrose boutique, the pair seemed to make a genuine effort at bonding—or at least the producers did anyway. As the girls perused Fred Segal Beauty (where Audrina picked up Lorac lip gloss and Lo some Bumble & Bumble hair spray), staffers were instructed to keep to themselves and assistance to a minimum.
"They told us not to talk to them. It was more about the conversation they were having," one product pusher told E! News.
After that, the ladies headed to the roof deck for some sun and more shopping. They cruised womenswear but made no purchases. Some MTV staffers munched on salads from Segal's Mauro's Cafe while the two gabbed.
Finally, Audrina and Lo headed out around 1:15 p.m., to the firestorm of paparazzi seen on the video above.
Nearby, and nowhere near as noticed, Rebecca Demornay slipped out from lunch with a brunette pal.

Audrina looks great, Lo not so much. And why on earth does Lo keep wearing her hair like that? Lauren should have stold her by now "dude that is so not a good look on you" !
Audrina looks great (cute dress!) but Lo looks totally wrecked..

"lo looks wrecked" are you kidding me? lo looks fine. they both look fine. I guess it's beat up on Lo month. What many fans of the show don't realize is that a lot of the drama on the show is scripted and only half truths. So I know you all think that Audrina is a victim, and LO and Lauren are picking on her mercilessly but Audrina is no better than they are. It's just a reality show maybe you should learn to separate reality from fiction.
They're totally filming, I know these two are not fan of each other!!

I'll be the first one to give Lo props if she (or any of the girls) look good, but if she looks wrecked (or any of the girls do) I'm going to say so also. That's what these boards are for - our opinions. And I'm not "beating" up on Lo - I think she looks like crap here - period! Sorry but her hair and that outfit is so not flattering.
I don't think Audrina is a "victim" but I don't think either girl is a big fan of the other. The drama w/ Lauren may be for the cameras but things w/ Lo & Audrina have always been strained especially since that first meeting w/ Justin when he was dubbed JB.
Food for thought - people comment all the time on the other girls looks but when anyone says anything negative about Lo all of a sudden it turns into an Audrina & Lo thing which is just ridiculous.
actually people seem to be falling over themselves complimenting audrina on her looks and great body. where were all these compliments several months ago before she was cast as the victim this season. now that lo and lauren are deemed the bullies, it's okay to like audrina? But OH-NO! one negative comment about audrina yields a vicious outburst. O-kaaay, color me confused.
vicious outburst? i don't see any viciousness in this thread just a differing of opinions. a kind of you like apples, i like oranges thing where we agree to disagree. I can't speak for anyone else but I've always loved Audrina. I was never a big fan of the choose 1 girl club or the Lauren is better than Kristin or vice versa thing. I find all of the girls (with the exception of Stephanie) interesting on some level. And I don't think there are any bullies on the show except for Spencer but truth be told i find him more of a pathetic asshat than a bully.
There are always going to be a few over zealous fans who resort to name calling here (if you were referring to the other Audrina thread) I think the best thing to do is chalk it up to immaturity, ignore those posts and move on.

What's wrong with Lo's hair and why shouldn't she wear it like that?
I don't like the whole skinny jeans over heels look (plus those jeans look really tight which I think is gross). Otherwise I think they both look cute - I especially like Audrina's dress...I wonder if it's Lauren's because it totally looks like something she would wear.

i don't like the skinny jeans trend either. only really skinny girls can wear that trend without looking chunky. though lo is bigger than the others, she pulls it off better than I expected and surprisingly better than lauren. and I have to admit, I'm loving lo's heels.

I love Audrina's outfit, not feeling Lo's at all. The heels are cute but what is up w/ all these skinny jeans lately. They're not flattering on anyone except on skinny minnies like Nicole Ritchie or the Olsons!

You're right, 3:42 - Lo actually does pull the jeans off better than expected. I think its more about body shape than actual size. IMO Lauren's a bit too pear-shaped and Audrina's legs are a little too short to look real good in skinny jeans.
But I also think it looks good on Lo here because of her top - I think she's a bit broad in the shoulders so with a different top she might look like an ice cream cone.
I think skinny jeans can look good, but they can very easily look really, really bad. I've just decided that for myself I'm just not going to go there.
