Keep up the great work Lauren. They are pricy for those of us who shop at target but they are still cheaper than a lot of designer clothes. I will be buying them. Maybe not all at once LOL but a few pieces. I can't wait to receive them and see the quality of fabric and etc. THat is what ultimately will determine how much of her collections I will buy.

Anywho, I will buy either the london top in black and the sophia dress in navy blue. If she had reasonably priced them I would also buy the katherine wraps. I think it's cool that she managed to produce a solid line in a couple of months. The pieces are classic and clean, which is good. The pricing, however, is awful! If that's the case, go out to your local American Apparel where you can pretty much snag all that stuff.
doesn't seem like good quality at all! if you zoom in on the lo dress, there is a string hanging. no thanks! and it's just rayon and spandex, not anything fancy. ridiculously overpriced for what you get- you could find something BETTER for half the price.
The clothes are probably good quality. She went thru a lot picking frabric and she was very hands. However, it still does not explain the prices. I think MTV set the prices and not her.
Yeah it's pricey...but what did you guys expect? It's a celebrity line! Like duh...its all about the marketing. She's trying to make a name for herself. Her line isn't going to be like forever 21 where any one can just buy her clothes. Brand name clothing are pretty expensive...I know her line isn't exactly a "brand name" yet but she's trying to get there. You guys know very well that there are things that are over-priced and not rightly so. I bought a 30 buck t-shirt from armini...SO WHAT??? I could go to Walmart and by the same quality for 10bucks...but I won't do that!

They really can't be reasoned with. To each their own. I always feel bad for the haters. It's sad to hate others for any reason IMO.

Lauren explain on her myspace blog that she is aware that the clothes are expensive but everything is made in USA at a lower scale and they are good quality so that is why it is so expensive.
It is a damn good collection especially considering it is her first and she did all the work not just attach her name to the product like so many others i.e. paris hilton and co.
We who are her fans are going to have to support her until she has a good client tale and can lower the price because she would be producing the collection on a larger scale.
She's having them made in the U.S. instead of in third world countries where they pay their workers 18 cents an hour? Go Lauren. Now I like you even more.

LC needs to know that the vast majority of her fans are college student and young adults that are making starting salary. She needs to lower the prices at least by 25% to 50%, then she would sell so much clothes because the clothes are cute and totally wearable.
I think its okay (I like the Lo dress) but I have to admit I'm a little disappointed. I agree with the poster who said you can find this same stuff for cheaper at American Apparel (which is also made in US). I'm looking forward to see what else she comes up with though.

the "made in the US" is a big part of it, I'm sure. you can find cheaper stuff at target or old navy, but it's made in malaysian sweat shops.
