Thursday, June 12, 2008 || Speidi's Television Wedding?
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt want to do it on live television.
The pressaholic reality-television couple have been talking to MTV honchos about a live telecast of their upcoming nuptials!
Montag, 21, has told MTV programming and development honcho Tony DiSanto that they’re ready to say their I-do’s for the cameras, a source reports.
No surprise, but DiSanto is said to be keen on the idea.
According to Montag and Pratt’s weekly latest cover story in Us, their dream is a small wedding on Sir Richard Branson’s Necker Island in the Virgin Islands, with catering by Wolfgang Puck’s Cut restaurant, watches by Jason of Beverly Hills for all their guests and a performance by U2.
Of course, Montag wants to warble out a tune, too.
The island thing probably won't work out, so MTV might as well kill two birds with one stone—how about Montag and Pratt get hitched onstage during the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards?!
Hey, maybe Bromance studster Brody Jenner can get ordained by an Internet ministry and actually marry them, too!
Wednesday, June 11, 2008 || Hills Stars Share Hot Summer Plans
Cameras are already rolling again for the Hills posse, but that isn't stopping them from embarking on extracurricular pursuits. From fitness plans to professional development — not to mention outings to Les Deux, obv! — summer's just another season for new challenges, only with less clothing.
TVGuide.com caught up with some of the cast at Sunday's Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation Carnival. For Spencer Pratt, the event was already an annual tradition. As he explained, "I grew up with [Elizabeth Glaser's son] Jake, so I've been coming to this event since I was in elementary school. We have so much love for this charity, and want to do anything we can to help out."
As people mobbed his main squeeze, Heidi Montag, Pratt said that their summer was focused on finishing her album in time for The Hills' Season 4 premiere in August. "We're in the studio with Todd Chapman," Pratt said. "He's a genius." As for Heidi's next music videos, though, Pratt said he would no longer be directing, just producing.
For now, music is the pair's only definite extracurricular. That rumored Speidi spin-off is not happening "anytime soon," Pratt said. "[Maybe] when The Hills is over."
Joining Pratt in the spin-off rumor-squashing was costar Whitney Port. "I don't know what the story is," she shrugged. "I haven't gotten a presentation of what it would be." She then mused, "I've stayed a little private, so it could be a little scary, but I'm open to it."
Lauren Conrad has a serious summer fitness plan in the works. Guided by a personal trainer, she said she soon be hitting the gym and reducing bikini body-busting foods. Despite the fact that her beauty mantra is "less is more," she's also not overdoing it: Sweets and alcohol are staying on the menu!
Apart from her fitness plans, Conrad was serious about taking time out for the Foundation's carnival, where she and her gal pals were manning the pottery booth. "We all live very fortunate lives," she said, "and it's nice if we can give up any time [for charity]."
Friday, June 06, 2008 || Speidi has made $3 million in 2 years
MTV's "The Hills" Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are one the most photo and press-friendly couples on tv, and they know how to cash in on it.
In Touch Weekly claims:
Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag may be one of the most controversial couples on television -- but they're laughing all the way to the bank. Since coupling up on The Hills two years ago, the pair have raked in about $3 million from their TV salaries, club appearances, photo shoots and business deals. "We are trying to entertain in every aspect of our lives," Heidi says. "Reality stars are grasping for their 15 minutes of fame," notes David Scott Sloan, a private wealth services lawyer who doesn't work with them. "And it looks like Heidi and Spencer are trying to make the most of their chance." For Heidi, 21, that means also pursuing a music and acting career. "I plan to win an Oscar," she says. "I'm very ambitious." Although the couple haven't made any money off her singing yet, Spencer, 24, who is also Heidi's manager, is very optimistic about their financial future. "My hustle is just too crazy," he says. "I'm trying to take over the world!" source: huffingtonpost.com
Thursday, June 05, 2008 || Audrina: Heidi "Shouldn't Get Married Right Away"
Twenty-one-year-old Heidi Montag recently told Us she's ready to walk down the aisle with Spencer Pratt, but pal Audrina Patridge says she may want to reconsider.
"I think she's still young, and I just feel like she shouldn't get married right away," Patridge, 23, told Usmagazine.com at the Dodge Challenger Celebrity Drag Race in Rosamond, California, on Tuesday. "They should be together and see if they can actually live together for a year without fighting.
"Once you are married," Patridge added, "you're married."
She said her summer has been busy "filming the fourth season of the show."
Does she ever get tired of the cameras tracking her every move?
"I've kind of just accepted it, but there is a point where I want to get back into my private life and get into acting more," said Patridge, who is currently shooting her first movie.
Us also caught up with the reality star at the Nylon/MySpace School of Rock bash in L.A. the same day.
Asked if she's still buds with Lauren Conrad, she replied, "Ummm....yeah."

Although Heidi Montag just graced the cover of a major magazine to say she was "betrayed" by Spencer -- Montag and Mayor McCheese were together at LAX Nightclub in Las Vegas last night stinking up the dance floor.
Heidi once again wooed Spence by lip-syncing a song for him -- but this time, it wasn't her horrendous single. It was "Baby Got Back."
